Few days ago, we have just mentioned the VK 2020 music phone which is 8.8mm thinck, now the title “World’s Slimmest Phone” has been taken by the Samsung X828. The Samsung X828 is only 6.9mm thick but it features a 2 Megapixle camera, 1.9-inch 260k color TFT screen, 80MB built-in memory, Bluetooth Stereo output. More images aftr the break.

Samsung i310 is the first mobile phone to have 8GB Hard Drive. It has been shown at the Cebit, now we got more details and images.

VK 2020 is the successor of VK2000 which is also the thinnest mobile phone. VK 2020 measures only 95 x 47 x 8.8 mm and weighs only 48 g (even thinner than Samsung T509)
With such a slim size, the VK2020 features a 1.5 吋 128 x 160 pixels 260K color TFT LCD screen, 128Mb built-in memory, MP3 Player, 64 Polyphonic ringtone, RAZE-like keypad. It even has Bluetooth connectivity.

Pantech announces its new ‘Hero’ EV-DO CDMA cellphone for the US. Hero features a 2.2″ QVGA Screen, 2Megapixel camera, 70MB of internal memory and supports both Mp3 and Mpeg4 H.264 playback. The phone measures 4.3 in x 1.9 in x 1 inch and weighs 4.73 ounces. It also supports T-Flash as external memory. The phone will be offered via MVNO Helio in the US. One more pictur below.

As you can see in the image, touchpad on the front definitely tells us it is a music phone. The phone features a 1.3 megapixel digital camera, EV-DO, Bluetooth, a MicroSD memory card slot and swappable faceplates. It should be available here in the US …

E61 is the second phone with the brand BenQ-Siemens (The first one is P51). E61 is a iF design awardd candybar-style music phone. It supports MP3、ACC、ACC+ playback with 6-band equalizer, lyric display and you can find the music button at the top of the phone which is similar to Toshiba TS608 (see the picture below). It also features a 0.3 Megapixel Camera and miniSD slot. It will be available in Taiwan in mid-April in the colors Silver and Orange with the price $6200 Taiwan dollar (about $191 USD). A 128 miniSD will be bundled.

The latest member of Asus M series, ASUS M307 features a 2 Megapixel Camera with Auto Focus and flash which can captures photos up to 1200 x 1600 pixels and video with QVGA(320 x 240 pixels) resolution. It also provides users external display self-portrait preview, 6 contrast exposures, and adjustable focus functions. For other features, the phone has a 176 x 220 pixels 260k colors TFT LCD, Media Player which supports MP3/AMR/AAC Palyback, 4MB Internal memory and miniSD support. The phone measures 88 x 43 x 22.9 mm. It is available now in Taiwan with price $11800 Taiwan Dollars.

The SCH W399 from Samsung is probably the first one in the market which can talk to you while you drive and tell you the shortest route to reach the destination. The phone also features an integrated 1.3 mega pixels 180 degrees swivel camera, a 2.2-inch 260k color 176 x 220 pixels LCD Display, a built-in memory of 57MB while there is no expansion slot, music playback, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. It measures 93 x 50 x 22 mm and it weighs only 90 grams. The phone is now available in China.

Bellwave, the Korean company, announces its new slim phone A308.  The RAZR-style keypad make the A308 as slim as 16.7 mm . The phone fetures a  2 Megapixel CMOS camera with LED Flash,  2-inch 260k colors TFT LCD, MP3/AAC playback, Bluetooth ver.1.2, and built-in 512 MB memory. The phone also supports MicroSD.
