Dell announced at the CES 2012 its all-new XPS 13 Ultrabook, a 13.3-inch ultra slim laptop with an edge-to-edge, display. Thanks to the near-frameless display and slim bezel, Dell packs a 13.3-inch screen in similar size of an 11-inch product. The super-thin notebook measures less than a quarter-inch at its thinnest point, and weighs just 1.36kg. It features a precision machined aluminum lid and a carbon fiber composite base

Canon introduces two new compact digital cameras, the PowerShot ELPH 520 HS and the PowerShot ELPH 110 HS. Both of them are equipped with DIGIC5 image processor for high-quality images, and HS SYSTEM that lets you take bright, clear photos in an even wider range of shooting situations. They also include the new Advanced Smart AUTO, which detects up to 58 scenes varying from non-human moving subjects to people, landscapes, pets and vehicles, helping the camera determine the best mode of shooting.

At the CES 2012, Canon adds to its PowerShot line the new flagship PowerShot G1 X prosumer digital camera. Featuring a 1.5-inch 14.3 Megapixel Canon CMOS image sensor, the G1 X gets the largest sensor to date for a PowerShot camera to deliver “approximately nine times more light sensitivity and helping to produce amazing depth-of-field and high-quality images in tough low-light conditions”. The new camera has a 4x optical zoom Canon lens.
