Pantech launches in Korea the SKY Check Mate IM-S610K mobile phone for clamshell lovers. The slim phone features a 2.6 240×320 main display and an external display for showing time, status and animations, a 2 Megapixel camera, built-in DMB support and IrDA connectivity.

LG launches the entry-level GD350 mobile phone. The clamshell features a 2-inch LCD display, a 2 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth, FM tuner, and a microSDHC card slot. The GD350 has no external display but LED lights for notifications. It supports playback of MP3, WMA, AAC and H.264, H.263. MPEG4 video files.
