Casio UK announced the new Exilim EX-Z33 entry-level digital camera that comes with the Best Shot function that can be programmed to automatically adjust to the scene being shot. The 10 Megapixel EX-Z33 features a 3X optical zoom lens and a 2.5-inch LCD display.

Ricoh releaes the new CX2 compact super-zoom digital camera, follow up to the CX1. The CX2 features a 10.7x super-zoom lens with a 28mm wide angle.  As slim as 29.4mm thick, the CX2 packs a 9.29 Megapixel CMOS image sensor, Smooth Imaging Engine IV image processor, and a 30inch LCD display.

In addition to the Z450 and Z90, Casio brings to Europe the new Exilim Zoom EX-Z280, the successor of the EX-Z270. The 12 Megapixel Z280 features 4x optical zoom lens with 26mm wide angle, CCD-shift image stabilization, Exilim Engine 4.0, ISO up to 3200, and a 2.7-inch LCD screen.

In addition to the new DualView cameras, Samsung is adding to its camera lineup the CL65, another camera that “represents the next step in the evolution of the digital camera.” The CL65 includes built-in GPS for geo-tagging, Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi connectivity and is DLNA compatible.

In addition to the slimline TX1, Sony brings also the Cyber-shot DSC-WX1 compact point-and-shoot camera. Like the TX1, the WX1 packs Sony’s Exmor R back-illuminated CMOS sensor with 10.2 Megapixel resolution. It has a 5x zoom Sony G lens with 24mm wide angle, and a 2.7-inch LCD display.

Pentax adds two new compact digital cameras, the P80 and E80, to its Optio line, replacing the P70 and E70.

In addition to the FZ35 and the FP8, Panasonic introduces also the Lumix DMC-ZR1 ultra slim digital camera that uses the world’s first 0.3mm thin aspherical lens. The thin LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens offers 8x optical zoom and 25mm wide angle.

Other than the S200EXR and the F70EXR super-zoom cameras, FujiFilm announced also the FinePix Z37 compact digital camera targeted at tech-savvy, fashionista consumers. The Z37 has a new design and is thinner than previous Z-series models.

FujiFilm announced the new FinePix F70EXR, a sleek, compact digital camera with a 10X long zoom Fujinon lens. The FinePix F70EXR, the second camera to use EXR sensor after the F200EXR,  has a 10 Megapixel Super CCD EXR imgae sensor.
