Intel announced the UrbanMax UMPC/Tablet PC Concept at the IDF. The UrbanMax looks like a bigger version of HTC’s Shift. Not much information is available now, but as we can see in the pictures, the UrbanMax will have a tilting touchscreen, and sliding keyboard. The device looks really thin.

Touch Sight - Camera for the Blind Concept

The picture above shows you the ‘Touch Sight’ a camera designed for the blind. Designed by Chueh Lee of Samsung China, the Touch Sight comes with no LCD display, instead there is a lightweight, flexible Braille display sheet which displays a 3D image by embossing the surface, which allows users to touch and feel the photo.

Designer Chueh Lee has found that the optimal position for this device is the forehead. The camera will record sound for three seconds after pressing the shutter button.
