GenerationMP3 gives us a hands-on preview on the Cowon A3 portable media player. Cowon features a 4-inch LCD display and integrated DMB digital TV receiver. The A3 runs Linux OS and is available in 30GB and 60GB.

Cowon is going to launch the new  iAUDIO 7 music player. The Cowon iAUDIO 7 not only plays MP3 music but also WMA, OGG, FLAC music as well as ASF and WMV videos. It seems the iAudio 7 supports also XviD videos.

Cowon has the L2 portable media player with also the GPS navigation feature. The Cowon L2 has a 7-inch TFT LCD display with 480×234 resolution, 500:1 contrast ratio and 420cd/m2 brightness. The Cowon L2 is powered by an ARM926EJ-S 266MHz and ARM946ES 266MHz processors, 64MB SDRAM and 2GB of NAND flash memory.

Cowon L2 features the SiRF III GPS chipset and it runs the Windows CE 5.0 OS. Not only GPS, the L2 supports also the DMB digital TV reception. It playsMP3, WMA, ASF and WAV music files, MPEG-4 videos as well as JPG, BMP and PNG image files.

Cowon has a SD card slot for expansion, InfraRed and an USB2.0 port.

The Cowon A3 has a 2.5-inch TFT-LCD touchscreen, a built-in DMB tuner, FM tuner, an SD/MMC card slot, and 2GB/4GB of capacity.
Cowon Q5 has a similar look to Cowon N2 and features a 5-inch TFT LCD screen, T-DMB TV tuner, HSPDA connectitity. It runs Windows CE 5 OS.

Cowon is going to show in the upcoming CES 2007 its two new PMPs, the A3 and Q5. The Cowon A2 is the successor of the Cowon A2. It boosted the DaVinci chipset from TI which delivers better video playback.

Another PMP is the Cowon Q5. Q5 has a similar look to Cowon N2 and features a 5-inch TFT LCD screen, T-DMB TV tuner, HSPDA connectitity. It runs Windows CE 5.

This is a hands-on video preview on the Cowon D2 Portable Media Player. The CowonD2 PMP features a 2.5-inch QVGA TFT-LCD touchscreen, DMB reveiver, support for MP3, WMA, OGG, MPEG-4, WMV9, and FLAC file formats, FM tuner, voice recorder and a SD/MMC slot. The D2 comes with 2GB or 4GB of capacity and has a battery life up to 52-hours (audio playback) / 10-hours (video playback).

Generation MP3 has reviewed the Cowon iAudio F2 MP3 player which looks like a mobile phone. Cowon iAudio F2 features a 1.3-inch LCD display, plays MP3, OGG, WMA, ASF, Flac, and WAV files and has a battery life of 22 hours and it is available in 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB of capacity.
