Cowon is going to show in the upcoming CES 2007 its two new PMPs, the A3 and Q5. The Cowon A2 is the successor of the Cowon A2. It boosted the DaVinci chipset from TI which delivers better video playback.

Another PMP is the Cowon Q5. Q5 has a similar look to Cowon N2 and features a 5-inch TFT LCD screen, T-DMB TV tuner, HSPDA connectitity. It runs Windows CE 5.

This is a hands-on video preview on the Cowon D2 Portable Media Player. The CowonD2 PMP features a 2.5-inch QVGA TFT-LCD touchscreen, DMB reveiver, support for MP3, WMA, OGG, MPEG-4, WMV9, and FLAC file formats, FM tuner, voice recorder and a SD/MMC slot. The D2 comes with 2GB or 4GB of capacity and has a battery life up to 52-hours (audio playback) / 10-hours (video playback).

Generation MP3 has reviewed the Cowon iAudio F2 MP3 player which looks like a mobile phone. Cowon iAudio F2 features a 1.3-inch LCD display, plays MP3, OGG, WMA, ASF, Flac, and WAV files and has a battery life of 22 hours and it is available in 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB of capacity.

Cowon N2 is a PMP with GPS. It is powered by a AMD Alchemy 500MHz processor, 32MB FLASH RAM and 128MB DDR2 SDRAM and it runs Windows CE 5.0 OS. It uses SiRF lll Chip for GPS and it supports also DMB and DAB digital TV reception.

Cowon launched in Korea its latest MP3 player, the F2 which is small and looks like a mobile phone. Available in 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB, the F2 features a 1.3-inch LCD display, plays MP3, OGG, WMA, ASF, Flac, and WAV files and has a battery life of 22 hours.
The player is priced at 119000 Won (about 103 euros), 149000 Won (about 129 euros), and 179000 Won (about 155 euros) respectively.

Available in 512MB, 1GB and 2GB capacity, the Cown T2 MP3 Player has the similar design as the iRIVER N10. The T2 has a 65k colors OLED screen and it supports the MP3, OGG, WMA, ASF, FLAC and WAV file formats. It weighs only 24.5g.
