Dell has officially announced the new Latitude XT2, which is the first tablet PC to have multi-touch technology. The 12.1-inch Latitude XT2 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo ULV SU9300 1.2GHz or SU9400 1.4GHz processor, up to 5GB of RAM, integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD video card, 80GB/120GB hard drive or up to 128GB SSD for storage.

Dell Precision M2400 Workstation

Dell Precision M2400 is a powerful workstation laptop with Quadro video card. The Precision M2400 has been reviewed by NotebookReview.com.

The test unit is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 2.8GHz processor, 4GB of memory, a 120GB hard drive and a NVIDIA Quadro FX 370M graphic card with 256MB video memory. The Precision M2400 includes also a 8X DVD+/-RW DL burner, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth, webcam, fingerprint reader, card reader and contactless smart card reader.

The Precision M2400 is an excellent match for business professionals and light CAD users. It is a distinguished laptop that offers brilliant processing power with a hint of style. The ruggedness and strapping build is expected from a business laptop, and the M2400 surely lives up to that standard. Although there are some minor setbacks, the M2400 is still a well-made system and can easily survive the daily bumps and bruises encountered by most frequent travelers.

Dell Latitude E6400

Dell Latitude E6400 notebook PC is a Centrino 2-based 14-inch laptop PC. The Latitude E6400 has been reviewed. The tested unit is powered by a Core 2 Duo P9500 2.53GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, nVidia Quadro NVS 160M graphics with 256MB video RAM. Other features include 14.1-inch 1440×900 LCD display, 8X DVD SuperMulti DL burner, WiFi 802.11a/g/n, Bluetooth and a 9-cell (85Wh) Lithium Ion battery.

NotebookReview’s comments:

Overall, corporate clients who are looking for the next generation of business notebooks from Dell have plenty of reasons to buy the E6400. Dell made every effort to improve the Latitude family, and the E6400 is a great 14-inch business notebook. That said, there is some pretty strong competition such as the Lenovo ThinkPad T400 and HP EliteBook 6930p … and those notebooks might prove to be better alternatives for some.
