Dell launches the updated XPS 420 and the new XPS 430 desktop PCs. Both of them are powered by Intel’s Core 2 Duo/Quad/Extreme processor, up to 8GB of memory, up to 2TB of SATA hard drive with optional RAID setup.

eMachines, a subsidairy of Acer, announced the new EL1200 Desktop Series PCs. eMachines’ EL1200 is a budget-friendly desktop PC with a small and light form factor. The EL1200 series is powered by AMD’s 64-bit Athlon processor, 1GB-2GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce video card. It offers also standard HDMI port and seven USB 2.0 ports.

Two models are available now, the eMachines EL1200-05w and eMachines EL 1210-01e which are available from Walmart and Best Buy respectively. The price of the former is $298 while the latter costs $349.
