Canon VIXIA FS31

Other than the VIXIA Full HD camcorders, Canon brings also the FS31 and the FS300 standard definition camcorders. The former comes with 16GB internal memory while the latter has no internal storage and both of them also record to SD/SDHC memory cards.

Canon VIXIA HF R11

In addition to the premiere HF-S series and HF-M series, Canon launches the more budget-priced VIXIA HF R11, VIXIA HF R10 and VIXIA HF R100 flash memory based Full HD camcorders. These camcorders feature a 2.39 Megapixel CMOS sensor, DIGIC DV III Image Processor and Canon 20x zoom HD Video Lens.

JVC launches its 2010 flagship Everio, the Everio GZ-HM1 Full HD camcorder that is ideal for high-end video enthusiasts and semi-professionals. The HM1 features a 1/2.3-inch 10.62 megapixel Back-illuminated CMOS sensor for recording 1920x1080p Full HD video in AVCHD format and real 10 Megapixel still images.

Canon introduces the VIXIA HF S21 and HD 21 and the VIXIA HD S200 flash memory Full HD camcorders, that are the follow-up to the company’s HF S11, HF S10, HF S100. These camcorders feature 8.59 Megapixel Full HD CMOS image sensor for capturing Full HD video and up to 8 Megapixel still images.

Panasonic adds two new models to its Full HD camcorder line, the HDC-HS700 and HDC-TM700 that serves as successors to the HS350, TM350, HS300 and TM300. Both models are equipped with a 7.59 Megapixel 3MOS system capable of recording 1920x1080p Full HD video, 14.2 Megapixel still images and 13.3-megapixel still images from recorded video.

JVC announced the new Everio GZ-HM340 digital HD camcorder with Konica Minolta 20x optical zoom lens. It has 16GB internal flash memory and supports SD/SDHC memory cards. The HM340 features a 1.37 Megapixel CMOS sensor, Advanced Image Stabilizer, Face Detection, Face Flow thumbnail and laser touch operation.

Sony bloggie MHS-CM5

Sony introduces two new bloggie portable camcorders, the MHS-CM5 and MHS-PM5 both does 1920×1080 Full HD video recording and 5 Megapixel still photo capturing. The MHS-CM5 features a “pistol-grip” vertical design for comfortable shooting. It sports 5x optical zoom and a flip-out 2.5-inch LCD display and HDMI output.

Panasonic unveiled three new compact Full HD camcorders, the HDC-HS60, HDC-TM55 and HDC-SD60. All of them have a 35.7mm wide angle lens with 25x optical zoom, extendable to 35x Intelligent Zoom.

If Samsung’s new announced H-series and S-series Full HD camcorders are not your cup of tea, how about the new F-series models that offers 65x Intelli-Zoom (52x optical zoom). Three models are introduced, the 16GB SMX-F44, the 8GB SMX-F43 and the SMX-F40 without internal memory.
