Ricoh introduces its new GR DIGITAL IV digital camera, the follow-up to the GR DIGITAL III. The new model features enhanced Quick Shooting capability and image quality. The new model is equipped with a 28mm/F1.9 GR Lens, the GR ENGINE III, and a high-sensitivity 10 Megapixel CCD image sensor. Featuring the Hybrid AF system, which is used in parallel with the conventional CCD contrast AF, the GR DIGITAL IV offers an AF focusing time as short as 0.2 seconds for quick shooting.

Nikon is launching a new compact digital camera, the CoolPix S100 with a refined design and advanced functions. The S100, successor to the S80, comes with a 3.5-inch OLED touchscreen with wide viewing angle and easy operation. Thanks to slim, right-angle optics zoom lens, the camera is so slim at just 18.1mm. Nikon announced the new CoolPix S1200pj digital camera with built-in projector, just like its predecessor, S1100pj. As Nikon’s third projector camera, the S1200pj offers a 40% increase in projection brightness and three times greater projection contrast, enabling projection of vivid images at a projection size of up to 60-inch display. It can even be connected to an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch via the dedicated cable for showing images and movies stored on these devices as well as online content from websites such as YouTube.
