Nikon made its D3X digital SLR (DSLR) camera, the successor of the D3, official,. The D3X is Nikon’s high-end flagship DSLR camera. It features a 24.5 Megapixel CMOS FX format image sensor, ISO sensitivity from 1000 to 1600 (expandable to 50-6400), and Nikon’s newly enhanced EXPEED Image Processing System. It can do full resolution at up to 5fps.

Sony Alpha DSLR-A900 Reviewed

Sony Alpha DSLR-A900 is the company’s latest full-frame digital SLR camera. It features a 24.6 Megapixel 35mm Full Frame CMOS image sensor, ISO from 100 to 6400, High Speed Dual BIONZ image processor, and a 3-inch LCD display. It supports direct HDMI output. The Alpha A900 uses CompactFlash and Memory Stick cards.

In conclusion this is, more than anything else at this end of the market, a true photographer’s camera, with at least one totally unique feature (the Super SteadyShot stabilization) and one that offers the best viewfinder and highest nominal resolution (and the lowest ‘cost per megapixel, incidentally) in its class.
