After announced back in January, the DROID BIONIC has been back to Motorola’s lab for a redesign and hardware enhancement. Now, the phone is released and is available from Verizon Wireless for $299.99 with a new two-year customer agreement. The Android smartphone supports Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE mobile network.

T-Mobile launches the myTouch 4G Slide Android smartphone, produced by HTC. This new Android device has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Running Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.0 on Qualcomm’s dual-core SnapDragon MSM8260 1.2GHz processor, the phone supports T-Mobile’s HSPA+ 4G network.

Samsung is launching in some markets its Galaxy R (aka Galaxy Z) i9103 smartphone, which is the little brother of the Galaxy S II. Instead of Samsung Exynos processor and Super AMOLED touchscreen, the Galaxy R gets NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core 1GHz processor and SC-LCD touchscreen with 480×800 resolution, making it a more affordable option.

Motorola releases in China its MT870, the world’s first dual-core TD-SCDMA 3G smartphone. Made for China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA 3G network, the 4-inch device runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and comes pre-loaded with the Mobile Market-SHOP4APPS application store offering huge range of applications and services designed especially for Chinese people and an easy shopping experience.

Verizon Wireless is going to release the Motorola DROID X2 dual-core Android smartphone, which is the follow-up to the original DROID X. The new phone is powered by a dual-core 1GHz processor and run Android 2.2 OS. The new dual-core CPU makes the X2 capable of loading webpage faster and handling Flash Player.

Italian website HDBlog did a 9 minute preview on the newly announced HTC Sensation Android smartphone. In the video, the Sensation was compared to the Nexus One. The clip also shows the new HTC Sense 3.0 UI, performance and responsiveness of this dual-core Android phone, video playback, Flash playback as well as Internet browsing experience. HTC has announced its long-rumored dual-core Android smartphone, the Sensation which is previous known as the HTC Pyramid. The Sensation, spec-wise, is quite similar to the EVO 3D and includes some improvements. Like the EVO 3D, the Sensation is boosted by a dual-core Qualcomm MSM8260 processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense. However it gets only 768MB of RAM and 1GB internal storage, compare to 1GB RAM and 4GB storage on the EVO 3D.

Chinese phone maker K-Touch has introduced its W700, an Android smartphone powered by dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The W700 runs Android 2.2 with 512MB RAM and 8GB internal memory. It comes with a 3.8-inch 480×800 capacitive touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera with 720p video recording and a 0.3 Megapixel front camera for video chat.

T-Mobile announced the LG G2x Android smartphone, which is known elsewhere in the world as the LG Optimus 2X. The G2x is boosted by the dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 1GHz processor and runs a stock version of Android 2.2 OS, meaning no LG custom UI is added.

Sprint has just announced the new HTC EVO 3D, America’s first 4G smartphone with a 4.3 inch 3D QHD display that allows you to view 3D without having to wear 3D glasses. The EVO 3D has a similar design like the original EVO 4G. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm SnapDragon processor with 1GB of RAM and 4GB internal memory; and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with HTC Sense.
