Mio Leap K1 combines PND and Mobile Phone

Mio presents the Leap K1, a twist of PND (Portable Navigation Device and mobile phone. The Mio Leap K1 has a sleek, slim form factor. Like Samsung’s F300/F308, K1 is a dual face phone. It offers phone on the on side and PND on the other.
On the phone side, there is a 1.7-inch OLED display, a 2 Megapixel camera, D-pad and number keys.
K1’s PND side is powered by a Samsung 400MHz processor, 1GB of ROM and 64MB of RAM. There is a 2.6-inch large touchscreen. The K1 comes with a 20-channel SiRFstar III GPS receiver for PND functionality.
Other features include Bluetooth, a microSD card slot, support for tri-band GSM and GPRS, mini USB port and a 2.5mm headphone jack. The Mio Leap K1 runs the Windows CE .Net and has Mio Map 2008 pre-installed.
