Kingston expands its DataTraveler 4000 series with the new fully-managed DataTraveler 4000-M Managed (DT4000-M) government-level secure USB flash drive specially developed for enterprise deployments. The new drive is FIPS 140-2 Level 2 Certified and TAA-compliant. Kingston DataTraveler 4000 Secure USB Flash Drive is FIPS 140-2 Level 2 Certified 1

Kingston announced two new portable USB data security solutions, the DataTraveler 4000 (DT4000) and the DataTraveler Vault – Privacy Managed (DTVPM) secure USB flash drives. The DT4000 is a FIPS 140-2 Level 2 certified (for the entire cryptographic module) USB flash drive with 256-bit AES hardware-based encryption in CBC mode. The drive locks down after 10 intrusion attempts and encryption key is destroyed.
