Firefox for Maemo Released

Mozilla releases the Firefox web browser for Nokia’s Maemo platform. Like desktop version, this mobile version of Firefox supports add-ons. It includes the Weave Sync function for syncing your Firefox tabs, history, bookmarks and passwords between your desktop and mobile device. Nokia’s N900 is the first device to get the Maemo Firefox as it is the only Maemo device currently in the market.

Mozilla FireFox Mobile Concept

Aza Raskin, head of user experience at Mozilla Labs shows us a video of the FireFox Mobile concept. Like the Safari Mobile in iPhone and iPod touch, the Firefox Mobile can display the entire webpage and users can then click to zoom. It should works on smartphone that can do internet browsing no matter it has touchscreen or not.
