Active Media Products introduces its new SATA DOM Flash Disk on Module based on MLC NAND Flash. Available in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities, the new Flash DOM uses SATA II interface. There are five different types of SATA DOMs, including vertical and low-profile, 7-pin and 22-pin, and offset right and offset left models to fit in virtually any enclosure.

Active Media Products announced the new line of IDE / PATA Flash DOM (Disk on Module) compact solid state storage drives for embedded applications and servers. Based on MLC flash, these Flash DOM module (FDM) uses PATA/IDE interface and comes in two types, the Type-1 with 40-pin female IDE connector and the Type-2 that uses 44-pin connector.
