Fujitsu FMV-U8240 UMPC

Fujitsu shows us the FMV-U8240 ultra mobile PC. Fujitsu FMV-U8240 is powered by an Intel Pentium A110 800MHz processor, 512MB or 1GB of RAM, 20 or 40GB of hard drive, and integrated Intel 945GU express graphics.

The U8240 has a 5/6-inch widescreen LCD display with 1024×600 resolution and LED backlight, WiFi 802.11b/g, QWERTY keyboard, a CF card slot and  SD memory card slot.

The Fujitsu FMV-U8240 will run the Windows XP or the Windows Vista OS. It is really small that it measures 171×133x26.5mm and weighs 580g.

Fujitsu FMV-U8240 UMPC

Fujitsu shows us it new FMV-U8240 UMPC Convertible based on the Ultra Mobile Platform 2007. The Fujitsu FMV-U8240 gets a Intel A110 800MHz processor, up to 1GB of RAM, 20GB hard drive. U8240 has also a 5.6-inch LCD display with 1024×600 resolution, a QWERTY keyboard, WiFi, two USB ports, CF and SD card slot, and a fingerprint reader. It seems like the U8240 gets also a camera.

The Fujitsu FMV-U8240 that runs the WIndows XP  will be available soon in Japan for  ¥144,000 or ¥164,000. There is a Windows Vista model coming.
