Panasonic begins delivery of its AG-3DP1, a 3D integrated twin-lens P2 HD shoulder-mount camcorder. Equipped with two pairs of 2.2 Megapixel 1/3-type 3MOS image sensor mounted left and right, the camcorder delivers Full HD 3D images and the Ultra Luminance Technology (U.L.T.) enables these image sensors to attain high-sensitivity, high-quality images. It also sports a 20 bit Digital Signal Processor handles image rendering processes with exceptional precision.

Sony Bloggie 3D MHS-FS3

Sony announced the new Bloggie 3D MHS-FS3, the first Full HD 3D pocket camcorder. Equipped with dual 5.15 Megapixel Exmor CMOS Sensor and dual lenses, the MHS-FS3 can record HD 3D videos as well as 5 Megapixel still images and 2 Megapixel 3D still photos. It has a 2.4-inch 3D LCD display that lets you view 3D content without the need for 3D glasses.

Sony introduced at the CES 2011 the Handycam HDR-TD10, the world’s first Double Full HD 3D consumer camcorder. The HDR-TD10 features an integrated dual lens system, which includes two of each key component – double Sony G Lenses, double Exmor R back-illuminated CMOS image sensors, and double BIONZ image processors to record 1920×1080 Full HD 60p/24p video. The lenses offer 10x optical zoom in 3D mode.

JVC introduces at the CES 2011 the GS-TD1, the world’s first consumer camcorder to offer 3D recording in Full HD. It has two 3.32 Megapixel CMOS sensors and two 3D Twin HD GT lenses to capture 3D images much the same way that human eyes work. The camcorder is equipped with JVC’s new high-speed imaging engine that can simultaneously processe the two Full HD images – left and right images at 1920 x 1080i – within that single chip.

Panasonic officially unveils the HDC-SDT750, the world’s first 3D consumer-grade camcorder, which was leaked few days before. The SDT750 comes with a 3D conversion lens that enables the camcorder to shoot true-to-life 3D video content. When the 3D conversion lens is unattached, the camcorder can also record Full HD 1080/60p video in AVCHD format.

Panasonic introduces the AVCCAM AG-3DA1, a fully-integrated Full HD 3D professional camcorder that uses SD/SDHC as storage media. It is equipped with dual lenses and two 1/4.1-inch full 1920 x 1080 2.07-megapixel 3-MOS imagers to record 1080/60i, 50i, 30p, 25p and 24p (native) and 720/60p and 50p in AVCHD. With dual 32GB SDHC memory cards, up to 180 minutes of 3D video can be record in the AVCHD PH mode.
