Toshiba announced 4 new HD camcorders, the A100F, A40F of A series, K80H and K40H of K series.
Toshiba gigashot A100F and A40F feature a 2.36 Megapixel CMOS sensor which can capture 1920×1080 Full HD videos, 10X optical zoom. They can record HD videos ‘at 60fps with 16bit/48kHz Dolby digital stereo audio at a 384kbps bit rate’. The gigashot A100F has a 100GB hard drive while the A40F has a 40GB one. They both has a 3-inch LCD display and a SD/SDHC card slot.
The K80H and K40H of the gigashot K series feature a 0.92 Megapixel CMOS image sensor, 10x optical zoom, and a 3-inch LCD display. The K series can capture 1280×720 videos at 60fps. K80H has 80GB hard drive and K40H has a 40GB drive while both of them get a SD/SDHC card slot for expansion.

Toshiba offers the gigashot GSC-R60 camcorder. The Toshiba gigashot GSC-R60 has a 212 Megapixel CCD sensor, 10x of optical zoom, 2.5-inch TFT LCD Display. The camcorder supports MPEG-2 (DVD Format) Video Recording and it can take still images up to 1600×1200 resolution. The GSC-R60 has a 60GB hard drive which can store up to 20.8 hours of DVD Quality video.
