The Motorola Droid (aka Sholes) is the cellphone maker’s second Android-based smartphone after the CLIQ. Boosted by a Texas Instruments OMAP3430 550MHz processor, 256M RAM and a dedicated PowerVR GPU, the Motorola Droid supports CDMA Rev.A network (GSM/WCDMA will also available), GPS and WiFi.

Actually this is not the first time we mention the Motorola Calgary. The phone has been preview almost a year ago and now it is heading for launch and it looks a lot different from the preview image.

Philips is launching the V808 Android-running mobile phone in the China market. The V808 will be a dual-band 900/1800Mhz GSM/GPRS/EDGE phone instead a 3G handset. It has a 3.2-inch 480×320 touchscreen display, a 3.2 Megapixel camera and a microSD card slot. It will be priced at about 3299 Chinese Yuan (US$484).
