Magellan introduces the new Roadmate Pro 9165T (model RP9165SGXUC) GPS navigation device designed for RVers. The portable, full-featured GPS device features a 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calling and a microSD card slot. The unit is powered by Samsung 2450 processor.

Magellan launches the new RoadMate 5175T-LM (model RM5175SGLUC) GPS navigation device with built-in WiFi connectivity. The device has a 5-inch touchscreen with Wide VGA resolution. With WiFi, the 5175T-LM, at stops or between meetings, can connect to hotspots to search for user-rated dining and other destinations. WiFi connectivity also keeps the device up-to-date with the latest software updates delivered automatically.

Navigon 70 Easy

Navigon announced the new 70 Easy and 70 Plus Live GPS navigation devices. The former comes with a 4.3-inch touchscreen while the latter has a 5-inch display. They are equipped with STMicroelectronics’ Cartesio STA 2064 processor and GPS chipset, and runs Windows CE 6.0 OS. The 70 Easy has 64MB RAM and 2GB internal memory and the 70 Plus Live gets 128MB memory and 4GB storage.

Garmin updates its eTrex line of handheld GPS devices by introducing three new models, the eTrex 10, eTrex 20 and eTrex 30. Garmin’s new pocket-sized GPS devices offers enhanced geocaching and supports geocaching GPX files for downloading geocache locations and details straight to the unit using its high-speed USB connection.

TomTom launches two new GPS devices for the Europe market, the GO Live 820 and the GO Live 825. Both devices come with one year of TomTom’s LIVE Service including the TomTom HD Traffic that offes accurate traffic information every two minutes. The Service also includes the Speed Cameras service, providing mobile and fixed speed camera alerts, while Local Search helps to pinpoint shops and businesses in the area. There are also QuickGPSfix that helps drivers to start navigation in seconds.

Garmin introduces a new rugged handheld GPS device, the Montana 650t with 5 Megapixel auto-focus camera for taking geotagged photos. The rugged device is durable and waterproof and is built to withstand numps, dust, dirt and humidity.

Magellan introduces the new RoadMate 9055-LM GPS navigation device with a large screen for use in large vehicles. The new 9055-LM sports a large 7-inch touchscreen for easy viewing and comes pre-loaded with maps of the 50 United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico and more than 6 million points of interest locations, AAA TourBook guide with Diamond ratings. It also features Free Lifetime Traffic for continual updates of traffic conditions in traffic-congested North American cities.
