FlipStart 1.0 Handheld PC

LaptopMag has reviewed the FlipStart 1.0 Handheld PC. The FlipStart 1.0 is powered by an Intel Pentium M 1.1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900 graphics and a 30GB hard drive.

The FlipStart has a 5.6-inch LCD screen with 1024×600 resolution, a 1.9-inch external display, and it supports WiFi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth and EV-DO. The handheld PC measures 5.9 x 4.5 x 1.6 inches and weights 1.8 pounds.

The device runs the Windows XP Pro or you can have the option to have Windows Vista Business.

LaptopMag says:
In general, we recommend a more traditional ultraportable notebook for the money, but FlipStart has delivered one of the most well-rounded handheld PCs yet. It’s comfortable to use, and the device provides instant access to the most important information you’ll need when you’re on the go. We prefer the sleeker design of the OQO model 02, but if you want the flexibility and durability of a clamshell design and faster performance, the FlipStart is a serious contender.
