Samsung releases its QF20 SMART digital camcorder with integrated WiFi connectivity. The compact camcorder supports Full HD 1920×1080 video recording. With WiFi support, users can connect the QF20 to any WiFi sport and instantly upload the video online to YouTube or Facebook (and images to Picasa) to share with friends and family directly and wirelessly from the camcorder with a simple touch of a button.

Genius brings a new budget-priced Full HD digital camcorder, the G-Shot HD575T with a smart touchscreen.  Equipped with 5 Megapixel CMOS sensor, the HD575T can record Full HD 1080p/30fps video in H.264 format and up to 16 Megapixel still images with interpolation. It sports a 5x optical zoom lens and a 3-inch touchscreen.

Thanko launches in Japan the HDMDVC74, a flash-drive form factor Full HD digital camcorder. The compact camcorder is equipped with 5 Megapixel sensor, capable of 1080p Full HD video recording at 30fps in MOV format. Other than the new 2012 VIXIA HF M-series, Canon also introduces the new VIXIA HF R32, VIXIA HF R30 and VIXIA HF R300 Full HD digital camcorders, which according to the company are to provide ideal combination of price and performance for budget-conscious consumers don’t want to sacrifice on features. All three models sport 3.28 Megapixel Canon Full HD CMOS image sensor, DIGIC DV III processor, a Genuine Canon HD Video Lens with 51x Advanced Zoom and a 3-inch touchscreen display for easy control. They record Full HD 1920x1080p videos in MP4 or AVCHD format.

Canon introduces its 2012 series VIXIA HD camcorders, including three compact HF M-series models – VIXIA HF M52, VIXIA HF M50 and VIXIA HF M500. These three new camcorders have lightweight body and compact design. They all support Full HD 1920×1080 video and feature a Canon 10x HD video lens, enhanced HD CMOS Pro Image Sensor for high video resolution, outstanding low-light performance and a wide dynamic range; ad DIGIC DV III image processor.

Toshiba Camileo X200

Sony announced its new Handycam NEX-VG20 Full HD digital camcorder, which is the successor to the NEX-VG10 – the world’s first consumer HD camcorder with interchangeable lenses. Toshiba Camileo P100

Toshiba announced in Europe two new Camileo pocket camcorders, the P100 and B10, both support Full HD video recording. The P100, comes with an ergonomic ‘pistol grip’ and powerful optical zoom, is an ideal all-round companion for any occasion, while the B10 is a bar-type camcorder “targeted at active, sporty people; adventure travellers; the young and the young-at-heart.”
