HTC officially announced the Hero that is the company’s third Android smartphone (the G3). Like the Magic (G2), the Hero is boosted by Qualcomm MSM7200A 528 MHz processor. It has 512MB ROM and 288MB RAM.

Other than Motorola’s Heron, AT&T is also going to to launch HTC’s Lancaster, the Android-based “Consumer Social Messaging Device”. The design of the Lancaster basically combines the G2 Magic and G1 Dream, and offers a sliding QWERTY keyboard.

A guy over at PPCGeeks shows us some live shots of Sprint’s upcoming HTC Willow (or the Star?), which will be launched on 7 June. The Willow is in fact the CDMA version of HTC’s Snap. It is boosted by a Qualcomm 528MHz processor, 192MB RAM and 256MB flash memory.

The above is a leak shot of HTC’s Hero G3, the company’s third smartphone based on Android which has been previewed earlier this year. The Hero is basically a combination of  HTC Magic and HTC G1 but comes without the trackball button and sliding QWERTY keyboard. As shown in the photos, the phone has a large touchscreen, a camera and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Hero G3 will probably come in Q3 2009.

HTC announced a new bar-type QWERTY smartphone, the Snap. HTC’s Snap is a Windows Mobile 6.1 based smartphone with a full QWERTY keyboard. Powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7225 528 MHz processor, the Snap has 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM.

We have seen leaked shots of HTC’s 2009 lineup and now we’ve the the specs of some models.

First of all, the Firestone. It’s the successor of Touch HD offering a 3.6-inch touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel camera and 3G support. HTC Firestone is powered by Qualcomm 8250 600MHz processor and runs Windows Mobile 6.5. Coming in August.
