Huawei announced at the CES 2012 the world’s slimmest smatphone, the Ascend P1 S that measures just 6.68mm thin. Powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz TI OMAP 4460 Cortex-A9 processor, the Ascend P1 S runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen with 940×540 resolution and Gorilla Glass.

Sprint is launching a new Android smartphone, the Express, a rebadged Huawei Boulder. The new Express is a bar-type Android phone with full QWERTY keyboard. Running Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, the phone comes with Sprint ID customizable user interface.

Huawei’s Honor U8860 is a smartphone running Android 2.3.5 with enhanced UI. The phone is powered by a 1.4GHz single-core processor with 5412MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. The Honor comes with a 4-inch 854×480 capacitive touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel camera, and a 0.3 Megapixel front-facing camera.

AT&T launches the Huawei Impulse 4G Android smartphone, which is the carrier’s first smartphone from Huawei. Though with 4G in its name, the phone doesn’t support 4G LTE network but quad-band HSPA network with up to 14.4Mbps. It is powered by Qualcomm MSM7230 with Scorpion 800MHz processor.

Huawei announced a new stylish Android smartphone, the Vision with an aluminum alloy uni-body in rose gold, silver or charcoal, and a curve touch design. The new device is powered by Qualcomm’s SnapDron MSM8255-1 1GHz processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with a 3D user interface and carousel animation display.

Huawei IDEOS X3

Huawei announced at the MWC 2011 two new Android devices, the IDEOS X3 smartphone and the IDEOS S7 Slim tablet. The X3 is smartphone running Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with a 3.2-inch touchscreen and a 3.2 Megapixel camera. The S7 Slim, obvioulsy slimlined version of the S7, gets a 7-inch touchscreen and offers HDMI output.

Huawei is going to announce its IDEOS X5 Andriod smartphone on 6 January at the CES 2011, and the phone will be released in Hong Kong on 13 January with a price tag of HK$3000 (US$386).

Huawei’s U8800 is a mid-range Android smartphone. Coming to Europe soon, the U8800 is running the Android 2.2 Froyo OS. The phone sports a 3.8-inch capacitive touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and WIFi connectivity. After the break, you can see the unboxing video:

Huawei U8500

Following the IDEOS, Huawei will also release later this year the U8800, U8500 and the U8300. All of them are powered by Anroid, with U8800 running Android 2.2 Froyo. The U8800 will probably be called as IDEOS X5 when it is launched. It runs Android 2.2 and supports the HSPA+ high-speed data network. The phone features a 3.8-inch touchscreen and a 5 Megapixel camera.
