The durable device weighs less than 3 pounds. It is MIL-STD-810F compliant for shock, vibration, rain, sand and dust and IP54 compliant for dust and water resistance.

General Dynamics Itronix introduces the new GB300 fully rugged arm- or chest-worn computer running the Android OS. The device operates like an ultra-sensitive commercial GPS unit or, with the click of a cable, interfaces with tactical radios like the Rifleman Radio (AN/PRC-154) for secure access to the tactical network, and uses SIRF Star III GPS chip and a quadra-helix antenna for real-time global positioning.
