JVC announced at the CES 2012 the GY-HMQ10, the world’s first handheld 4K camcorder that records 3840×2160 Quad Full High Definition (QFHD) video images, which is four times the resolution of high definition TV. The camcorder is powered by JVC’s Falconbrid large-scale integration (LSI) chip for high-speed signal processing and sports a 1/2-inch 8.3 Megapixel CMOS imager. The Falconbrid LSI chip takes raw image data from the CMOS sensor and dematrixes (deBayers) it in real time, delivering real-time 3840×2160 footage at 24p, 50p, or 60p.

JVC Procision Series DLA-X90R, DLA-X70R

JVC announced that it is now shipping its full 4K precision projectors, including the Procision Series DLA-X90R, DLA-X70R and DLA-X30 (which will also be marketed by JVC Professional Products Company as Reference Series DLA-RS65, DLA-RS55, DLA-RS45, respectively), and the Reference DLA-RS4800.

JVC adds to its Kaboom! line of portable audio boombox the new RV-NB70 model. The new Kaboom! retains the original version’s general design – a large cylindrical shape with a woofer at each end. It features a CD player, FM tuner 40 watts of power and includes Bass enhancement circuitry. The new Kaboom! also offers mic/guitar input with level control.

JVC Xtreme Xplosives HA-M5X

JVC introduces the new Xtreme Xplosives (XX) series haedphones. The line has three models, including the in-ear HA-FX1X, on-ear HA-S4X and around-the-ear HA-M5X. All of them feature a bass port for outstanding bass reproduction, a durable rubber protector for impact protection and to help withstand heavy use, and a gold-plated 3.5mm stereo plug.

JVC TH-BC1

At the CES 2011, JVC introduces two new surround soundbar home theater system, the TH-BC1 and TH-BC3 designed to complement today’s high definition displays. The BC1 and BC3 soundbars feature 60-watt (30 watts per channel) output, two-channel SRS StudioSound HD and built-in FM tuner. They have analog input and two digital audio inputs (optical and coaxial) and a subwoofer pre-out.

JVC’s GZ-HM50 and GZ-HM30 are the only non Full HD models of the company’s 2011 HD Everio lineup. They sport a 1.5 Megapixel CMOS sensor to record 1280×720 AVCHD video and is equipped with KONICA MINOLTA HD LENS with 40x optical zoom.

JVC is going to release two more full HD camcorders, the GZ-HM450 and GZ-HM440 with a more affordable price. The former has 32GB internal flash memory and a single SDXC card slot while the HM440 has no internal storage but two SDXC slots. They are equipped with a 1.5 Megapixel CMOS sensor to crecord Full HD video and a KONICA MINOLTA HD LENS with 40x optical zoom.

Along with the flagship GZ-HM960 and GZ-HM860, JVC is launching three new mid-range HD Everio Full HD camcorders – GZ-HM690, GZ-HM690 and GZ-HM690 with 64GB, 32GB and 8GB internal flash memory, respectively. These camcorders are capable of 1920×1080 Full HD 24Mbps High bit rate Recording in AVCHD format.

JVC brings a new hard disk drive-based Full HD camcorder, the HD Everio GZ-HD520 with 120GB HDD that is enough for storing up to 50 hours of Full HD video recording. The HD20 features KONICA MINOLTA HD LENS lens with 40x optical zoom in HD and 70x dynamic zoom in SD, and a 1.5 Megapixel CMOS sensor. It records 1920x1080p Full HD video with 24Mbps high bit rate in AVCHD format
