KDDI au is launching two entry-level mobile phones, the Kyocera NS01 and Pantech NS02. Both of them are clamshell phones.

Kyocera NS01 is a basic mobile phone with a 2.8-inch 240×400 ASV LCD main display, a 0.5-inch external display, a 1.97 Megapixel camera. What’s special about this phone is the belt on the back. The phone has 100MB internal storage and supports up to 4GB of microSDHC. The NS01 has InfraRed connectivity. It isavailable in Lime, White and Black.

KDDI au launches the Kyocera K001 clamshell style phone that is claimed to be a ‘safe’ phone. The K001 comes with several safety functions including crime prevention buzzer, safe navigation, night light. It has a changeable front cover.

KDDI au will also offer Panasonic P001 slim clamshell phone in Spring 2009. The Panasonic P001 has a Quad Face Design and is really slim at 13.3mm thick. KDDI au’s Panasonic P001 features a 3.1-inch VGA LCD main display, a 0.4-inch external display and a 3.24 Megapixel camera.

Other than the 8 Megapixel Sony Ericsson’s S001, KDDI au is also launching the Sharp SH001 that features a 8 Megapixel camera. KDDI au’s Sharp SH001 features a 3-inch NEW ASV LCD display and a 8 Megapixel CCD camera with flash and ISO 2500.

KDDI au has also Casio CA001 in its 2009 Spring line up. Casio’s CA001 is a clamshell phone with a 3.1-inch swivel IPS LCD display that is a touchscreen. It has a 5 Megapixel camera, IrSimple, Bluetooth, GPS, and 1Seg digital TV support.

Toshiba is also in the KDDI au’s 2009 Spring party bringing its T001 5 Megapixel mobile phone. Comes in clamshell style, the Toshiba T001 featuress a 3.3-inch VGA OLED display, a 0.5-inch 60×32 external display, a 5 Megapixel camera, 100MB internal memory and support for up to 2GB of microSD cards.

Other than the Premier 3 Walkman phone, Sony Ericsson presents also the S001 Cyber-Shot phone for KDDI au. KDDI au’s S001 features a 8 Megapixel Cyber-Shot camera. It has a 3.3-inch 480×854 VGA LCD display and backlit keypad.

KDDI au introduces the new Premier 3 Walkman phone produced by Sony Ericsson. The music-oriented Premier 3 is a two-way clamshell phone. It has a 3-inch 480×854 VGA LCD display, a 3 Megapixel auto focus camera and integrated support for 1Seg digital TV.

KDDI just announced its 2009 Spring lineup that includes the Hitachi Wooo H001 clamshell mobile phone with a 3D display. The Hitachi Wooo H001 features 3.1-inch 3D IPS TFT LCD display, a 5 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth and IRSimple. THe Wooo H001 support microSD cards.
