KDDI au is launching the IS12T Windows Phone by Fujitsu Toshiba, which is the world’s first smartphone to run Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system. The new Windows device is powered by Qualcomm MSM8655 processor. It has a 3.7-inch 800×480 capacitive touchscreen and a 13.2 Megapixel CMOS camera.

KDDI au expands its INFOBAR range with the latest A01 model with a “Design infused with famed predecessor’s DNA”. Designed by Naoto Fukasawa, the new touchscreen INFOBAR features signature tile-like keys, hand-fitting form, and palette of colors, including Kuro, Nishikigoi, Hacca, and Chocomint.

KDDI au will launch in early 2010 the Cyber‐shot S006 16.2 Megapixel mobile phone by Sony Ericsson. The slider phone packs a 16.2 Megapixel Exmor R image sensor and offers ISO 12800. Should we say it’s a phone with a good camera, or a camera with phone function?

Japanese mobile carrier KDDI au introduces the new REGZA Phone IS04 by Fujitsu Toshiba Mobile Communications, the first Android smartphone to have 12 Megapixel camera. The phone is IPX5/IPX7 certified for waterproof. Personally, I think the IS04 looks like a curve-less Sony Erisson X10, probably due to the three silver buttons.

KDDI au and Sharp are going to release in November the new IS03 Android mobile phone that features a 3.5-inch 960×640 ASV touchscreen, like the Retina Display on the iPhone 4. The IS03 is a smartphone running Android 2.1 with a customized UI.

Other than the Sharp IS01, KDDI au is also launching the IS02 by Toshiba, which is also known as the K01 outside Japan. The IS02 is powered by a 1GHz SnapDragon processor, 384MB RAM and 512MB ROM. It runs Windows Mobile 6.5.3 and comes with a QWERTY keyboard.

Sharp announced the IS01 Android MID for KDDI au, one of the Japanese mobile network operator. The new IS01 is boosted by Qualcomm’s SnapDragon processor and runs Android 1.6 OS. The clamshell device featuresa 5-inch large New Mobile ASV display with multitouch and 960×480 resolution and a 5-row QWERTY keyboard.
