Dell offers in the US the E248WFP, a 24-inch widescreen LCD display. Dell E248WFP features a 1920×1200 resolution, 400cd/m2 brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 5ms response time. The E248WFP has a 160-degree viewing angle and supports Analog, DVI-D (Digital) with HDCP connectors. It supports also VESA mounting.

THe Dell E248WFP is priced at $399.

EIZO, the Japanese monitor expert, announced the new FlexScan HD2441W full high definition LCD monitor. “The FlexScan HD2441W has a 1920 x 1200 native resolution and can display full HD images at 1920 x 1080p. It can detect the amount of change in an image and applies the ideal degree of interlace/progressive conversion to minimize artifacts. In addition to the standard 480i to 480p (interlace to progressive) conversion, it produces high quality images even when doing high speed processing necessary for 1080i to 1080p conversion.”

It has two HDMI inputs, DVI-D input and D-Sub input. The EIZO FlexScan HD2441W  is now shipping.
