Canon brings two new installation LCOS projectors for the professional AV market, the REALiS WUX5000 and WUX5000 D. Both models utilizes Canon’s fourth-generation AISYS (Aspectual Illumination System) optical technology to maximize the display capabilities of their advanced LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) imaging panels. The projectors delivers 1920×1200 16:10 widescreen resolution, and a high brightness level of 5000 lumens.

3M MP220 Mobile Projector

3M announced two new Mobile Projectors at the CES 2012, the MP220 and the MP410. Both models use LED light source offering up to 20,000 hours of lamp life. The MP220 uses Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) technology for superb image quality, while the MP410 is based on DLP technology. They both have built-in document viewer and media player for easy presentation without a laptop.

Tursion launches the TS-101 pico projector that runs Windows CE 5.0 operating system. The handheld projector is based on 3M optics and offers 640z480 resolution and 30 lumens brightness. It comes with a microSD card slot with support for up to 16GB card, and supports direct playback and viewing of music, video and Microsoft Office and PDF documents.
