LG has started mass production of its 17.1-inch RGB-LED backlit LCD display. Thanks to the backlight for LED lamps, LG’s WUXGA 17.1-inch LCD offers a color reproduction rate of up to 105%, and a 30% better contrast ratio than CCFL displays.
