LG officially announced the Optimus 2X P990 (aka LG Star), the world’s first dual-core smartphone, sporting a NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor running at 1GHz. With a dual-core processor, the Optimus 2X is going to offer faster, smoother web browsing and applications and lets users multitask with virtually no screen lag.

This is LG’s next flagship, the Star powered by Tegra 2 dual core 1GHZ processor and running Android 2.3 (when it is released). Though the Star has not been announced, GSM-Israel has a 7-min hands-on video on the phone, which is embedded after the cut:

T-Mobile is launching an budget-priced entry-level Android smartphone, the LG Optimus T, which is basically the US version of the Optimus One. The phone features a 3.2-inch touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel camera with video recording, and preinstalled 2GB microSD card. The Optimus T runs Android 2.2 Froyo, with Swype keyboard pre-loaded.

Polish site android.com.pl posted several shots and a video of LG’s upcoming Android smartphone, the E720. The phone is a mid-range device with a 3.2-inch touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera, and Qualcomm’s MSM7227 chip. The LG E720 runs Android 2.2. No words on launch date.
