LG is launching soon in Korea the new Optimus LTE2 (LG-F160S) Android smartphone. What the phone selling is its massive 2GB of RAM, the amount we can’t find on any other smartphones on the market. The LTE2 will have a 4.7-inch True HD IPS touchscreen LCD display with 1280×720 HD resolution. It is equipped with a 2150mAh battery to provide 40% longer battery life than the Optimus LTE.

Sprint is launching the new LG Optimus Elite entry-level smartphone that is eco-friendly. The device is ULE Platinum Certified for highest level of environmental performance, and is also CarbonFree certified to offset the carbon footprint of the phone’s full lifecycle. It also eliminated the use of many environmentally sensitive materials, including polyvinyl chloride (PVC), brominated flame retardants (BFR), halogen, beryllium, phthalates, and nickel, and comes in fully recyclable packaging.

If you look at LG’s line-up for the MWC 2012, each phone has its own selling point, 3D, NFC, and quad-core. What LG’s Optimus Vu is selling is probably its large 5-inch display that comes in 4:3 aspect ratio, unlike most touchscreen smartphones. The powerful smartphone is powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 1.5GHz quad-core processor featuring the unique 4-PLUS-1 design for high-level multimedia performance that utilizes a fifth batterysaver core to handle less demanding tasks such as active standby and music playback. The Tegra 3 is also equipped with a 12-core GPU to deliver rich gaming experience. The phone has 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal memory.

LG is launching in China market a new entry-level Android smartphone, the Optimus Glar E510. Boosted by 800MHz single core processor and 512MB of RAM, the phone runs Android 2.3.4 with LG’s custom UI. The E510 has a 3.5-inch 320×480 touchscreen and a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera.
