This is the Iron Man edition of the LG Shine mobile phone. The phone is 18 karat gold Gold plated and there are only 20 units.

The phone was a bit heavy in person, obviously due to all that gold, but the look is so right, it would be a shame for LG to pass up the opportunity and create some with a gold finish, instead of the real thing.

LG presents also the FOMA L705iX for NTT DoCoMo. The L705iX is the Japanese version LG’s Shine slider. Other than the original Silver version, which is called Shine Silver, there are also Shine Gold and Shine Titanium.

The L705iX supports DoCoMo’s FOMA HSDPA network and features a 2.2-inch LCD screen, a 2 Megapixel camera with Schneider Kreuznach lens and a microSD card slot. Like the other DoCoMo phones, the Japanese Shine does not support Bluetooth, but InfraRed. It has also integrated PDF viewer. The phone works with also GSM and 3G networks.

The LG Shine which is not black is the latest member of the LG Chocolate series. The LG Shine has a 2.2-inch 260k color QVGA LCD screen, a 2 Megapixel camera with an Schneider lens supporting Auto focus and MPEG4 video recording. The built-in media player can play MP3 files as well as MP4 files. It supports Bluetooth, USB and has a microSD slot supporting cards up to 1GB.
