LG is launching in China market a new entry-level Android smartphone, the Optimus Glar E510. Boosted by 800MHz single core processor and 512MB of RAM, the phone runs Android 2.3.4 with LG’s custom UI. The E510 has a 3.5-inch 320×480 touchscreen and a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera. There are no LED flash and front camera, though.

LG announced at the IFA the Smart Scan LSM-100, a mouse with built-in scanner. The mouse is easy to use. Simply hold the Smart Scan button on the left side of the mouse and swipes the mouse over the material to be scanned. The scanned image will then be saved PNG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PDF, XLS and DOC or dragged and dropped into the desired application.
