Sony introduces the new Alpha a550 and a500 digital SLR cameras to its Alpha DSLR line, both feature Sony’s Exmor CMOS image sensor and BIONZ image processor with color-noise reduction. The 14.2 Megapixel a550 and 12.3 Megapixel a500 both offer ISO sensitivity up to 12800.

Pentax K-7 Digital SLR Camera does HD Video and HDR

Pentax officially announces its new K-7, a rugged compact digital SLR (DSLR) camera. Pentax’s K-7 features a 14.6 Megapixel CMOS image sensor and HD movie capture function that record up to 1536×1024 video at 30fps.

Sony alpha A380, A330 and A230 DSLR Cameras

Sony announced three new alpha digital SLR cameras, including DSLR-A380, DSLR-A330 and DSLR-A230, for first-time DSLR users. The A330 and A230 both have a 10.2 Megapixel sensor while the A380 comes with a 14.2 Megapixel image sensor.
