LG is launching soon in Korea the new Optimus LTE2 (LG-F160S) Android smartphone. What the phone selling is its massive 2GB of RAM, the amount we can’t find on any other smartphones on the market. The LTE2 will have a 4.7-inch True HD IPS touchscreen LCD display with 1280×720 HD resolution. It is equipped with a 2150mAh battery to provide 40% longer battery life than the Optimus LTE.

Sony Xperia GX

Sony Mobile announced two new LTE smartphones for the Japanese market, the Xperia GX and Xperia SX, joining the Xperia NX and Xperia acro HD. Both of them support LTE mobile network and delivers a download speed of up to 75Mbps, and the SX is the world’s lightest LTE smartphone weighing just 95g. They are powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. The GX features a curved design like the Xperia Arc, with a matte texture and slimline body.

At the CTIA Wireless 2012, Verizon announced the HTC DROID INCREDIBLE 4G LTE, its latest 4G LTE smartphone. As the follow-up to the DROID INCREDIBLE II, the new handset sports a more powerful dual core 1.2GHz Qualcomm SnapDragon S4 processor. It features a 4-inch Super LCD qHD touchscreen display and a 8 Megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash.The DROID INCREDIBLE 4G LTE supports Verizon’s 4G LTE service ans includes Mobile Hotspot function to share high-speed connection with up to 10 WiFi devices.

AT&T introduces the first 4G LTE Windows Phone in the world, the Samsung Focus 2 (model SGH-I667UWAATT), at the CTIA 2012. Powered by a 1.4GHz processor, the handset runs Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system. The second generation Focus features a 4-inch 480×800 Super AMOLED touchscreen display, anda 5 Megapixel with autofocus and HD 720p video recording and a VGA front camera for video chat. As the first LTE Windows Phone, it works on LTE dual-band 4/17 network and supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band UMTS 3G as well.

Nokia’s Lumia 900 is a new high-end smartphone running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system. In addition to the LTE 4G version announced earlier, Nokia is also launching the DC-HSPA variant supporting up to 42Mbps download in regions where LTE is not available. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm 1.4Ghz single-core processor with 512MB of RAM, and comes with 16GB internal memory. In fact, the Lumia 900 is like a Windows Phone version of the company’s Meego-powered N9, featuring the same slim, sleek body.

The quad-core Ascend D quad and Ascend D quad XL are not the only members of the Ascend D line, Huawei is also launching the Ascend D lte, a 4G smartphone. The handset supports LTE 1800/2600/800/2300 4G networks as well as quad-band GSM/EDGE and dual-band 900/2100 HSPA. Unlike its brother, the LTE model doesn’t get a quad-core CPU, but a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor. There is 1GB RAM.

If you look at LG’s line-up for the MWC 2012, each phone has its own selling point, 3D, NFC, and quad-core. What LG’s Optimus Vu is selling is probably its large 5-inch display that comes in 4:3 aspect ratio, unlike most touchscreen smartphones. The 4:3 5-inch display offers a tablet-like viewing, making makes viewing documents, books, internet and multimedia contents easier and more comfortable. ZTE PF200

ZTE is going to show two new LTE 4G mobile phones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2012, the PF 200 and the N910, both running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system with ZTE’s custom UI. The former is powered by a 1.2GHz processor while the N910 sports a 1.5GHz chipset. The PF200 works with LTE, UMTS 3G, and GSM/EDGE mobile networks and the N910 supports LTE FDD and CDMA/EDVO networks.
