UK company Dixon’s brand, Advent, is going to launch later this month the Advent Altro slim notebook PC that is designed to challenge Apple’s MacBook Air. The Altro is powered by Intel’s ultra-low voltage Celeron processor, 3GB RAM and a 120GB hard drive.

MSI’s X-Slim X600 is the largest model of the X-Slim series offering a 15.6-inch 1366×768 LCD display. The X600 boasts either an Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 1.4 GHz or Celeron ULV 723 1.2 GHz processor, 3GB/4GB RAM and 320GB/500GB hard drive, depending on models. All models will get a 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics card.

After the X320 and X340, MSI is going to launch in Q2 2009 its X-Slim X400 and X600 ultra slim notebook PC that are powered by Intel’s Core 2 Solo CULV processor. Both 14-inch X400 and 15-inch X600 are less than 1-inch thick and weighs just 1.5kg and 2.1kg respectively, with a super slender Li-poly battery.

MSI’s X-Slim X340 is a ultra slim notebook set to challege the MacBook Air. The 0.8-inch thin X340 is powered by Intel’s new Core 2 Solo SU3500 CULV processor, 2GB RAM, integrated GMA4500MHD graphics and a 320GB storage. It supports WiFi and Bluetooth.

German site newgadgets.de has unboxed the MSI X-Slim X320 ultra slim notebook. The notebook is powered by an Atom Z530 1.6GHz processor, 2GB RAM and 320GB hard drive. It supports WiFi and has a 13.4-inch 1366×768 display

The Wind U123 is a 10.2-inch netbook equipped with an Intel Atom N280 1.66GHz processor, 1GB RAM and 160GB hard drive. It include GMA950 integrated graphics.
