Mazda launches the refreshed MX-5 Roadster in Japan. The new Mazda MX-5 Roadster is powered by a  2.0-liter double overhead cam (DOHC) engine offering 7,000 rpm output. It has the new six-speed manual transmission with Induction Sound Enhancer. There is also six-speed auto transmission model with Direct Mode and Active Adaptive Shift (AAS) functions.

The Mazda MX-5 Roadster get also the custom-made BOSE sound system.

Fifth Gear has done a road test on the Mazda 2. There are two versions of Mazda 2, one is powered by a MZR 1.3-liter four-cylinder engine that produce 75 hp and the high power version has a 1.5-liter which outputs 103hp.

Mazda released a few photos of the Furai Concept. The Mazda Furai has a three-rotor Mazda 20B rotary engine, which can produces around 450 horsepower. The engines runs on E100 ethanol and the word “Furai” can be translated as “sound of wind”.

The flowing shape of the Furai was co-designed by Mazda and Swift Engineering at Mazda’s design studio in Southern California.

Here is a first look at the 2008 Mazda2 from WorldCarFans. THe 2008 Mazda2 has 1.3L engine (75hp / 84hp) or a 1.5L version that generates 104hp.

Mazda’s US based design team has develop the concept of Nagare, which means “flow”in Japanese. The Mazda Nagar design suggests where Mazda design will go in 2020. Check out the video after the jump.

Fifth Gear’s Tom Ford takes out the all-new Mazda MX5 for a road test. The Mazda MX5 has a 2L DOHC inline-4 engine which produces 170hp @ 6700rpm and 140 lb-ft torque @ 5000rpm.

Mazda has recently released it pricing for the forthcoming MazdaSpees3. Mazda’s Speed3 features a turbocharged 2.3L engine that can produces 263hp and 280 lb-ft of torque, boosting it from 0-60 in just under 6-seconds. The Sport model features a six-speed manual transmission, stability and traction control, 18-inch wheels, four-wheel ABS and it cost $22,800.
The Sport model will be topped by the Grand Touring, which begins at $24,515 and adds automatic on/off headlights, rain-sensing wipers, Xenon HID headlights, LED rear combination taillights, leather bolsters on its black cloth seats, a premium BOSE sound system and available DVD navigation.
