Motorola Mobility UK announced the limited edition DEFY+ JCB Edition featuring work-orientated protection transforming the life-proof handset into a work-proof device. With visco-elastic protective sleeve from JCB with re-entrant geometry, the limited edition DEFY+ is ideal for anyone operating the demanding construction and engineering sectors, or who work in the rugged outdoors and in extremely demanding conditions. Verizon and Motorola have introduced the new Droid RAZR MAXX, an enhanced version of the RAZR with extended battery life. It includes all the features of the RAZR and packs a 3300mAh battery for over 21 hours of talk time and up to 15.8 days standby time on one single charge. Even with a bigger battery, the MAXX is still slim at just 8.99mm.

Verizon and Motorola are launching another DROID smartphone, the Motorola DROID 4, which is the thinnest and most powerful 4G LTE QWERTY smartphone. Like its predecessors (DROID, DROID 2, DROID 3), Motorola’s new Android device packs a QWERTY keyboard in a slim body. The DROID 4 adds support for Verizon’s 4G LTE mobile network for high-speed data.

Motorola announced the MOTOLUXE, a slim Android smartphone heading to Greater China, Europe and Latin America markets. Actually, the device is just the same one as the Motorola XT615, which have been announced for Taiwan. The slim device boasts a 4-inch 480×854 touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel auto focus camera and a front-facing VGA camera.

Following the DEFY and DEFY+, Motorola adds to the DEFY line the new DEFY MINI, a low-end water-resistant, dustproof Android smartphone for active users. The  Android 2.3 phone has a 3.2-inch 480×320 touchscreen with scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass.

Motorola brings the FIRE XT, a budget-friendly Android smartphone to Poland. With a compact, slim form factor, the new phone has a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with flash and a front-facing camera for video call. It is boosted by a 800MHz processor with 512MB  RAM and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with MOTO Switch UI that allows users to shift to different modes.

China Mobile is getting its own version of Motorola RAZR, the MT917 that supports the carrier’s TD-SCDMA 3G network. The phone is powered by a dual-core 1.2Ghz processor with 1GB of RAM, and will be loaded with Android 2.3 operating system. It comes with a large 4.5-inch 1280×720 touchscreen with a 330 ppi resolution protected by scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass.

Motorola is launching in China the XT928 Android smartphone for China Telecom. Coming in this December, the XT928 is the King of Multimedia according to Motorola. It features a 4.6-inch 1280×720 HD touchscreen, a 13 Megapixel camera with 1080p Full HD video recording, and Dolby Digital Plus audio technology, delivering  a “mobile multimedia you’ve never experienced it before”.

Motorola is launching in Taiwan the XT615 Android smartphone that measures just 9.8mm thin. The phone is boosted by a 800MHz processor with 512MB RAM and 1GB ROM, and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with MOTO Switch UI 2.0 that learns who you talk to and which apps you use and keeps all of that information front and center.
