Motorola has launched its low cost MOTOFONE cellphone in India. The phonehas a ClearVision display with the Electrophoretic Display (EPD) technology to provide users with a large, high-contrast screen that is viewable even in bright sunlight. It supports 32 chord ringtones and has a 5-Way Keypad. There are two version of this phone, the Motorola FONE F3 which is GSM version and Motorola FONE F3c which is CDMA version.
Based on Motorola’s evolutionary new SCPL design platform, MOTOFONE is the first of a new breed of handsets designed to disrupt today’s communications landscape by cutting across price tiers, product segments and international markets.

Update: It seems the ROKR is the same as Motorola’s E690 Linux Phone.

Motoroal has launched the 14.5-mm thin ROKR E6 phone in the China market. The ROKR E6 has a 2.4-inch 260k color QVGA touchscreen which allows handwriting recognition, a 2 Megapixel camera, a QR code (barcode) scanner, Bluetooth with A2DP, FM radio and a SD card slot supports up to 2GB.

Applications include RealPlayer which plays MP3, MPEG4, AAC+, WAV, and RealAudio formats, a business card reader and a document viewer for PDF and the most common MS Office files.

It has a 3.5-mm headphone jack for you to enjoy music with you oen earphone and USB 2.0 for fast file transfer. It is now selling in China for 4,280 chinese yuan(about $545).

After the success of the RAZR V3, Motorola keeps update it line up with similar models. The W550 may be the latest member. As you can see in the picture, the phone looks like a blend of the RAZR V4 and KRZR K1.

As the succesor of the E680, there are a lot of improvement in E690, the camera is boosted from 0.3 Megapixel to 2.0 Megapixel and it is now only 15mm thick. The phone runs on Intel XScale 312MHz processor and it features 2.4-inch 260k colors 240 x 320 pixels TFT LCD touchscreen, Music playback with the built-in RealOne player and your favorite headphone via the 2.5mm headphone jack, MPEG 4 recording, SD card slot and Bluetooth with A2DP support.  More pics below…

Motorola has introduced in Korea the stylish MS800 mobile phone in Korea. The MS800 is a phone with DMB mobile TV support while it also comes with a 1.3Megapixel Camera, a MP3 player, 1GB of memory and a MicroSD slot. You can even play 3D games with the MS800. Here are some photos of the phone.
