The Viliv P1 PMP offers simple and slim design. You may think it just looks like iPod but it is more than that. The PMP is as thin as 18mm and it features a 4″ wide LCD which can display up to 1600k colours, touch wheel navigation, Music and video player. As the User Interface(UI) of the device is Macromedia Flash-Based so users can also play Flash games with the device. There are 20GB and 30GB models and surprisingly it support Compact Flash memory card. There are two packages for users to choose, the standard pack which included the PMP, Cradle and remote control while the Essence pack only comes with a wired remote control. It is now available in Korea and no word yet on international release.

As to improve the audio quality, TECLAST presents the C150 music player which are “Dua core”. What does it mean by dual core (dual chip is more appropriate), TECLAST take out the DAC and amplifier chip out of the decoding chip.

TECLAST claims that by seperating the two component, the sound quality will not be affected by the noises produced by main decoding chip amd improves the signal-to-noise ratio up to 100db. C150 supports MPEG1 video playback and with the bundle software, you can convert any video formats(including RM) to AMV files which C150 can play. It featuress a 65k color 1.5-inch LCD display, 512MB memory, 8 equalizer modes, FM tuner, and line-in recording. It also has e-Book funtion which supports ASCII and Unicode Text files.
