SanDisk U100 and i100 SSDs for Ultraportable Notebooks and Tablets

SanDisk announced two new solid state drives, the U100 and the i100, for mobile computing applications such as ultraportable notebooks and tablets. The U100 is the successor to the SanDisk P4 modular SSD, which delivers a flexible, cost-effective solution for ultra-thin notebooks; while the i100 is the world’s smallest, fastest 128GB (SATA III) BGA (ball grid array) SSD and an ideal storage solution for slim, powerful tablets and ultra-thin notebooks.
