MSI expands its X-Slim ultra slim notebook line with the new Sandy Bridge-powered X460. The 14-inch laptop is powered by either 2nd gen Intel Core i7-2630QM or Core i5-2410M processor and NVIDIA GeForce GT540M dedicated graphics card with 1GB video memory. It packs DDR3 memory, 500GB hard drive and a DVD SuperMulti burner.

MSI launches the FX620DX notebook powered by Intel’s Sandy Bridge platform, which is called by MSI as the “super car of laptops”. The 15.6-inch laptop features checkered flag exterior with scratch-proof technology and anti-fingerprint coating. FX620DX is powered by choices of Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors, with up to 8GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GT540M 3D graphics card with 1GB video memory.

MSI ships in the US market its new GT780R and GX780 17-inch gaming notebooks, both sport keyboards designed in partnership with SteelSeries. These notebooks come equipped with rugged SteelSeries Full Color Backlit keyboard featuring Power 10 key solution that allows 10 keys typing simultaneously and multicolor LED backlit and 5 programmable modes.

MSI introduces the GX780 17-inch notebook powered by Sandy Bridge processor and equipped with SteelSeries’ made-for-gamer LED backlight keyboard that offers 1,000 color combinations, 5 scenario modes, support for simultaneous pressing of 10 keys and the so-called “Golden Triangle” layout that is ideal for gaming.

MSI launches its GT680 notebook powered by Intel’s Sandy Bridge 2nd gen Core processor. The 15.6-inch notebook is equipped with two speakers and one subwoofer and features Sound by Dynaudio and THX TruStudio Pro to deliver “wrap around” surround sound.

MSI launches two new notebooks powered by the next generation Intel Core processor, the CX640 and the CR640 for mainstream users. Both powered by the Core i3-2310M 2.1GHz CPU, the CX640-071US packs NVIDIA GeForce GT520M graphics card with Optimus technology, while the CR640-035US has integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics. They both have 4GB RAM, a 500GB hard drive, a DVD SuperMulti burner and a 7-in-1 card reader.

MSI launches in the US the new X-Slim X370 notebook powered by AMD’s Fusion Accelerated Processing Unit (APU). The 13.4-inch X370 is boosted by AMD’s E-350 dual core APU with 4GB of DDR3 memory and AMD Radeon HD6310 discrete-class graphics. The notebook measures 0.9-inch thick and weighs 3.11lbs.
