Microsoft announced its new Touch Mouse, a multitouch device designed for Windows 7 that lets people click, flick, scroll and swipe, making it easy and fun to interact with their PCs. The Touch Mouse has a capacitive touch area that for users to do everything they are used to doing with a mouse, such as point and click. It also adds gestures with one, two or three fingers for people to quickly scroll and pan, navigate, and manipulate content, manage windows such as maximize, minimize, and navigate their whole desktop easily.

Japanese firm Sanwa is launching a new wireless ultitouch mouse, the flat, slim MA-TOUCH1. The mouse supports four-direction scrolling and two-finger swipes. It comes with a tiny USB receiver. The Sanwa MA-TOUCH1 is available in black, red, silver and white and is priced at 6090 Yen.

Speedlink, a German company, releases the CUE wireless multitouch mouse (model SL-6345-SSV). Like Apple’s MagicMouse, the CUE has a sensor surface with multitouch function for finger gesture control. The surface recognise your finger movements and translate these into commands, allowing users to scroll documents, browse photos or navigate the web just by swiping the mouse.
