Both projectors are based on 1-Chip DLP technology and comes with dual lamps that provide intense light output, with up to 2500 hours of lamp life.

The new projector is the first model in NEC’s projector line to offer Open Pluggable Specification (OPS), which is the first industry-wide standardization in option slots, including an HD/SD-SDI and single board computer (SBC), to simplify installation, use and maintenance while offering input flexibility.

NEC announced two new M series short throw projectors, the M300XS and M300WS ideal for education and small-to-medium-sized businesses. Replacing the NP610S and NP510WS projectors, the new models feature 0.47:1 throw ratio for easier installation on a wall above the screen or whiteboard, and a short-throw distance of 1.8 to 3.6 feet.

NEC announced its new PA600X, PA550W, PA500U and PA500X professional projectors ideal for corporate conference rooms and large classrooms that require an installation projector. The PA600X and PA500X offer XGA resolution and the PA550W has WXGA resolution while the PA500U delivers WUXGA. They provide up to 6000 lumens brightness and up to 4000 hours of lamp life.

NEC announced its new P series projectors for entry-grade integration environments such as corporate boardrooms, higher education classrooms and government training rooms. Three models will be released, the P350X and P350W with 3500 lumens and the P420X with 4200 lumens.
