OCZ Technology is bringing two new series of affordable solid state drives, the Agility 3, successor to the Agility 2, and the Solid 3. These 2.5-inch SSDs use SandForce SF-2200 controller and support SATA 6Gbps interface. The former offers up to 525MB/s read, 500MB/s write, up to 60,000 4KB random-write IOPS, while the latter provides 500MB/s read, 450MB/s write, and 20,000 4KB random-write IOPS.

OCZ Vertex 2 and Agility 2 SSD Lines gets 400GB and 480GB models

OCZ Technology adds 400GB and 480GB models to its Vertex 2 and Agility 2 SSD lines. These new solid state drives offer 250MB/s read and 240MB/s write speeds with with higher 4k random writes up to 22,500 IOPS on the Vertex 2 Series.
