Sony BVM-E170

Sony introduces two OLED master monitors, the 16.5-inch Trimaster EL BVM-E170 and the 24.5-inch BVM-E250. Utilizing Sony’s unique Super Top Emission OLED technology, these monitors deliver outstanding black performance, quick response with virtually no motion blur, and a wide color gamut. They feature Full HD 1920×1080 resolution, 100cd/m2 brightness and 89/89-degree viewing angle.

DuPont announced that it has developed a manufacturing process in which OLEDs can be cost effectively printed in less than two minutes, using proprietary DuPont Gen 3 solution OLED materials. OLED will probably the mainstream in future display and TV market as it offers higher contrast ratio, faster reponse time and consumes less power. It also allows thinner TV and display products as it doesn’t require backlight components. DuPont’s new technology offers a cost-effective way to product OLED that will probably make OLED displays more affordable.

TVLogic LEM-150W

TVLogic shows at the NAB 2010 two new 15-inch OLED displays, the LEM-150W and the 3D-capable TDM-150W. The first model uses a 15-inch AMOLED display while the latter utilizrs 15-inch OLED Shutter Glass display for showing 3D images, both with a 1366×7689 resolution, 180-degree ultra-wide viewing angle and 100,000:1 contrast ratio.
